Dr. Ha Nguyen graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachelor’s of science in Biochemical Engineering and a minor in English. Subsequently, he went to medical school at Indiana University and was inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He received his neurosurgical training from the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is a strong advocate for the advancement of neurological surgery. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific abstracts and posters. Dr. Nguyen is a compassionate and skillfully-trained surgeon.  He cares for his patients and actively involves them in mapping out the best care plan for their treatment.

Azadeh Farin, MD, FAANS, FACS, is a fellowship-trained and board-certified neurosurgeon at FARINeurosurgery, with experience in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures. She provides expert care in Los Angeles and Orange countries to patients in and around Long Beach, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Hermosa, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Huntington Beach and Torrance, CA. Dr. Farin is proud to be among only 200 female neurosurgeons in the United States. Dr. Farin received her medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, where she won the Whipple Memorial Endowed Scholarship, and her residency in neurosurgery at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California. She them completed a fellowship in neurological surgery with focus on complex spine surgery and spinal deformity/tumors at the University of California, San Francisco. She received the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Spine Research Award, granted to only one fellow in the US, for her work. Dr. Farin is board certified in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Her research has earned her lead authorship for several manuscripts published in prominent medical journals. In 2010, Dr. Farin won the Avicenna Award of Excellence. She has guest reviewed for the journal Neurosurgery and consulted for Grey’s Anatomy. She was recently granted a full patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for her spinal device invention. Dr. Farin has published several dozen manuscripts, articles, and book chapters.
